Crowns & Clover

March is Lust of the Irish month at Book Tease, and this week we’re celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with a story that combines Irish folklore, rival traditions, and fun, holiday magic.

Book of the Week:

Go Luck Yourself by Sara Raasch

Book 2 in the Royal and Romance series

Available on Kindle Unlimited

The Book

Go Luck Yourself is a queer romance centered around the Prince of St. Patrick’s Day and the Prince of Christmas - two men whose worlds, traditions, and personalities clash almost immediately.

When an undercover operation pulls them into the same orbit, what begins as irritation quickly turns into something far more complicated. As intrigue and hidden agendas begin to unravel, both princes are forced to confront the expectations that have shaped their lives — and decide whether they’re willing to break from tradition to become something more than the roles they were born into. The result is a story filled with banter, heart, and the kind of romantic tension that makes enemies-to-lovers so satisfying.

If you love magical worlds, chaotic holiday politics, and romances where irritation slowly gives way to something much deeper, this is your St. Patrick’s Day read.

Ratings

Overall Rating: 4 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This book is an absolute delight if you enjoy witty banter, magical worlds, and characters who challenge each other as much as they charm each other. The dynamic between Lochlann and Kris is where the story truly shines, with their rivalry and grudging mutual respect creating a steady stream of humor and tension.

Beyond the romance, the world building adds a fun layer of intrigue, exploring what it might look like if holidays themselves were governed by royal families and magical traditions. The story balances humor and heart, while also digging into the pressure of legacy and the difficulty of living up to expectations that may not truly fit who you are.

It’s playful, clever, and emotionally satisfying, especially for readers who love an enemies-to-lovers romance where the characters slowly realize the person they clash with most might also understand them best.

Spice Level: 3 Flames 🔥🔥🔥

The spice level here lands comfortably in the middle. While the story leans heavily on banter and emotional tension, the romantic payoff delivers more open-door moments than some of the other books in this month’s lineup.

And while the spice itself is enjoyable, Lochlann’s confident, playful bedroom talk easily steals the show, adding an extra spark to the scenes and making the romantic payoff even more fun to read.
